I made this card with inspiration from this card here by Annette Green. I changed it up a bit as I don’t have a pocket die or the Tough Tags & I love how it turned out. I just had to do some measuring to get the pocket shape:) I love how sanding shows the white core of the Outdoor Denim cardstock. I used the Ruler to make the stitches & connected them with a chocolate maker. I cut the card, circle, and label shape with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The stamped images are from “Pure Adventure”. I love this stamp set! I colored the Pewter Badge Button with Brown StazOn & used Round Durable Studs & Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. I love how this turned out & hope you do too!!! I’m going to give it to my father-in-law for Father’s Day:)

I made this awesome wallet with some fun girls at a party last night:) I found the idea on annettescreativejourney.blogspot.com.

I changed mine a bit from hers as I wanted to use the “You Are…” stamp set. I cut out the base for the wallet from a piece of “Victory” paper with this awesome design in the corner. I love how this looks with just “Original” pop doted up on the front. Here is a look at the inside…

I used the stamp set “Stitched Together”  to make it look like the it was stitched & made credit card shaped inserts with sayings from the “You Are…” stamp set on them to describe my amazing Husband!:)

My kids love this & can’t wait to give one to their Dad & Grandpa’s!! They thought it would be fun to put some slips of paper in with things they could do for their Dad, like play X-Box with him, or give him a back rub, or go shoot guns, as well as a gift card:)

If you would like to make one of your own, you will need the Stamp Set “You Are…” and a pack of “Victory” paper available at sweetcherryink.ctmh.com & you would need to cut these papers:

Base – 9″ X 3 1/2″, Scored at 4 7/16″ & 4 9/16″

Wallet insert – 8 1/2″ X 3″  folded in half

2 pieces 4 3/8″ X 2″ & 2 pieces 4 3/8″ X 1 1/2″

3 assorted pieces credit card shaped 2 1/4″ X 3 1/2″

1 piece 3/4″ X 3 1/2″ for the front

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Cheers,

Charity

I made this layout for a Gathering I did in January for my good friend Julie. There were 6 of us and it was so fun creating and teaching how to do this layout. I love sharing how easy it is to use Close to my Heart’s fabulous products.

To design this layout, 1st I looked in my “Reflections” scrapbook program for a design that would work with these pictures and then I just followed the instructions and cut my paper and pictures. Then I looked for the January Stamp of the Month “Little Reminders” in all my supplies. I was in the middle of finally unpacking in my new craft room. It took me longer to find the stamp set then to make the layout! lol Then I cut the embellishments with my cricut, stamped, and put the page together. Finally, I cut pennant shapes a little smaller than the pacifica ones and placed them under their matching pennant to journal on.

I love this layout and the remembering of this wonderful time over 6 years ago. I can’t believe how fast time flies. One of my favorite things about scrapbooking is the remembering and relection on times past and how it makes me cherish the present.

If you would like a special evening with some of your friends, contact me and I will help you and your friends put together a layout and you can earn some fabulous Close to my Heart products for free while you’re at it:)

Cheers,

Charity
